Verizon Business Internet Pricing (2026): Fios, 5G Business Internet and Frontier

Verizon Business internet and phone prices for 2026: Fios, 5G Business Internet and Frontier (now Verizon). Fees, pros, cons and a free quote comparison.

By GBTech.ai · Published · Last reviewed

Prices are the advertised monthly prices on Verizon's and Frontier's websites on November 6, 2026, before taxes and fees. What you pay depends on your address.

Verizon now sells business internet three ways. There's Fios fiber in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, 5G and LTE fixed wireless in many other areas, and, since January 2026, Frontier fiber. This guide covers what each one costs, what the fine print adds, and how Verizon compares with Spectrum, AT&T, Comcast and T-Mobile for a business with 4 to 250 employees.

Verizon Business pricing at a glance

Service Advertised price Speeds Contract
Fios Business Internet (fiber) $69 to $179/mo, $5 less with Auto Pay and paper-free billing 300 Mbps to 2 Gig 2-year term for these prices
Frontier Business Fiber $49.99 to $119.99/mo with bank Auto Pay; $20 less with a Verizon Business mobile plan 500 Mbps to 5 Gig, plus a 7 Gig bundle Month-to-month, 2-year price lock
5G Business Internet $69 to $85/mo; $35 to $55 with a qualifying Verizon business smartphone plan Up to 100, 200 or 400 Mbps download No term contract listed; 10-year price guarantee in select areas
Business phone Business Digital Voice from $20/mo for the first line with Fios; One Talk from $20 per line n/a Varies by product

For one office, Verizon's and Frontier's advertised internet plans run from about $50 to $180 a month without a mobile bundle, before taxes, fees and equipment. Which of the three you can get depends on your street address.

What changed in 2026: Frontier is now part of Verizon

Verizon completed its purchase of Frontier Communications on January 20, 2026. Frontier is now a wholly owned Verizon subsidiary [5], and Verizon says the deal brings it to about 30 million fiber passings [6].

Three things matter if you're shopping for business service:

  • Frontier is still sold as Frontier. Frontier Business Fiber now carries the "Frontier, a Verizon Company" name, with its own plans, prices and website [2] [4].
  • Existing Frontier accounts haven't changed yet. Verizon's page for Frontier business customers says, "There will be no change in product availability at this time." It also says customers will be told in advance about any future changes [4].
  • Bundling now saves money. Frontier Business Fiber customers who add a qualifying Verizon Business mobile plan get $20 a month off [2] [4].

Verizon Fios Business Internet plans and prices

Fios Business Internet is Verizon's own fiber service. Every plan has unlimited data, and the 300 Mbps, 500 Mbps and 2 Gig plans have equal upload and download speeds [1].

Plan Download / upload Monthly price With Auto Pay and paper-free billing Price guarantee
Fios Business 300 Mbps 300 / 300 Mbps $69 $64 1 year
Fios Business 500 Mbps 500 / 500 Mbps $99 $94 2 years
Fios Business 1 Gig 940 / 880 Mbps $149 $144 3 years
Fios Business 2 Gig Up to 2,048 / 2,048 Mbps $179 $174 5 years

Source: Verizon's Fios Business Internet page [1]. Prices are plus taxes, fees and equipment charges, with a 2-year term that renews automatically.

What to know before you order:

  • Prices vary by market. Verizon says Fios pricing "may vary depending on location." In some markets, its page shows lower prices: 500 Mbps for $69, 1 Gig for $99 and 2 Gig for $119 a month [1].

  • The 2-year term matters. The prices above come with a 2-year term that renews automatically. Verizon lists an early termination fee of 35% of the base monthly charges left on the term [9]. Activation is $49 on the 300 Mbps, 500 Mbps and 1 Gig plans and free on 2 Gig. Without a 2-year term, activation is $99 [1].

  • The router costs extra. Verizon's router is $18 a month to rent or $399.99 to buy [1]. You can also use your own compatible router [8].

  • Current promotions:

    • Two months of service at no charge for eligible new customers who choose the 1 Gig or 2 Gig plan with a 2-year term, through January 10, 2027.
    • $20 a month off for eligible new customers who buy Fios together with a select Verizon Business smartphone plan.
    • Up to $1,500 toward your current provider's early termination fee when you sign a 2-year term, in select areas, through December 31, 2026.

  • Where Fios is available: Fios is concentrated in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. Its footprint runs from Massachusetts down to Virginia, plus Washington, D.C. [16].

Frontier Business Fiber plans and prices (now part of Verizon)

Plan Price with bank Auto Pay With a qualifying Verizon Business mobile plan
Business Fiber 500M $49.99/mo $29.99/mo
Business Fiber 1 Gig $69.99/mo $49.99/mo
Business Fiber 2 Gig $89.99/mo $69.99/mo
Business Fiber 5 Gig $119.99/mo $99.99/mo

Source: Frontier Business [2]. Prices are for 24 months and include a $10 discount for Auto Pay from a bank account.

What to know:

  • No long-term contract. Frontier says its small business fiber plans "are billed on a month-to-month basis and may be cancelled anytime." New customers also get a 2-year price lock on the plans above [2].
  • Two months free (new customers). On the 1 Gig, 2 Gig and 5 Gig plans with bank Auto Pay and paper-free billing, Frontier credits the first two full months of service. The offer ends January 10, 2027 [2].
  • Symmetrical speeds, router included. Frontier says its fiber delivers symmetrical speeds, meaning uploads are as fast as downloads. Plans include a Wi-Fi 7 router at no extra monthly cost, unlimited data and no overage charges [2].
  • How you pay changes the price. Auto Pay by credit card costs $5 a month more than bank Auto Pay. Without Auto Pay, the price is $10 a month higher, including during the promotional period [17].
  • Fees: a $50 activation fee and installation fees may apply [2].
  • Faster option: Frontier's Fiber 7 Gig Ultra bundle costs $159.99 a month. It includes SmartVoice, Frontier Internet Backup, Premium Tech Pro and Secure Pro [17].

Verizon 5G Business Internet and LTE Business Internet

Plan Price with current offer With a select Verizon business smartphone plan
5G Business Internet 100 Mbps $69/mo $35/mo
5G Business Internet 200 Mbps $85/mo (was $99) $55/mo
5G Business Internet 400 Mbps Not priced online n/a
LTE Business Internet 25 Mbps $69/mo (first-year price) $35/mo

Sources: Verizon's 5G Business Internet and LTE Business Internet pages [3] [7]. Prices are plus taxes, fees and Verizon's Economic Adjustment Charge.

What to know:

  • 10-year price guarantee in select areas. New 100, 200 or 400 Mbps lines in select areas get a 10-year guarantee on the base monthly price. Taxes, fees and equipment aren't covered, and any change you make to the service or plan cancels the guarantee [3]. The 100 Mbps service price is $69 a month; its $35 bundle price uses a $30 mobile-line credit plus a $4 internet offer credit. The offer ends January 10, 2027, so ask which monthly price the guarantee locks in.
  • Speeds vary. Verizon's listed speeds are maximum downloads that "may be lower in the event of network congestion," and upload speeds "will be lower than download speeds" [3].
  • Setup. On the 100 and 200 Mbps self-setup plans, the router comes on a 36-month device payment plan that monthly bill credits cover; the credits end if you stop meeting the offer's requirements. Professional installation uses an outdoor receiver, and Verizon requires written permission from the building owner [3].
  • Data. 5G Business Internet has unlimited data [3]. LTE Business Internet includes 300 GB per line per month, then overage charges apply [8].
  • Bundle fine print. The lower bundle prices require a new internet line bought at the same time as a qualifying unlimited Verizon business smartphone plan. The $35 price for 100 Mbps uses a $30 mobile-line credit plus a $4 internet offer credit. The offer ends January 10, 2027. Verizon's 5G page also advertises its Priority Help Desk free for a year [3].
  • Contract. Verizon's 5G page doesn't list a term contract, and CompareInternet.com describes the service as month-to-month [15].

Verizon business phone pricing

Product What it is Advertised price
Business Digital Voice Digital business phone lines with 45+ calling features, sold with Fios $20/mo for the first line, $25/mo for each additional line, with Fios 300 Mbps or faster. Phone equipment starts at $85 [1]
One Talk Business phone service with mobile and desktop apps and desk phones, plus features such as an auto receptionist and hunt groups "Starts at $20 per line" [10]
Frontier Business Voice Cloud voice for Frontier fiber customers From $29.99/mo when bundled with Frontier 1, 2, 5 or 7 Gig fiber [11]

Backup internet from Verizon

Verizon's Backup and Flexible Use Internet plan costs $30 a month per line for 3 GB of data, according to a June 2026 Verizon flyer. After the 3 GB, Verizon charges $70 for unlimited data for the rest of the billing period. The plan has no annual contract and needs a compatible router [12]. Verizon's backup page doesn't list prices, so confirm the current price. Verizon also positions LTE Business Internet as suitable for primary or failover service [8].

It's worth putting your backup line with a different carrier and technology than your main line, so a single outage is less likely to take out both. For example, pair fiber from one provider with 5G from another.

Fees and fine print to budget for

  • Taxes and fees are extra on every plan. Verizon's wireless internet plans also carry an Economic Adjustment Charge [3].

  • Fios:

    • $49 activation with a 2-year term (none on 2 Gig), or $99 without one.
    • Router at $18 a month or $399.99.
    • The term renews automatically, with an early termination fee of 35% of the remaining base charges.

    Sources: [1] [9].

  • Frontier:

    • A $50 activation fee and installation fees may apply.
    • $5 to $10 more a month if you don't use bank Auto Pay.
    • Equipment must be returned when you cancel, or extra fees apply.

    Sources: [2] [17].

  • 5G: the router is on a 36-month payment plan offset by bill credits, and outdoor installs need the building owner's permission [3].

  • Static IP addresses: available as a Fios upgrade, but Verizon doesn't publish the price [18].

Pros and cons of Verizon Business

Pros

  • Fiber with symmetrical speeds. Fios 300 Mbps, 500 Mbps and 2 Gig and Frontier fiber upload as fast as they download, which helps with video calls and cloud backups [1] [2].
  • Long price guarantees.
    • Fios: up to 5 years, on the 2 Gig plan [1].
    • Frontier: 2 years [2].
    • 5G Business Internet: 10 years in select areas [3].
  • No data caps on Fios, Frontier or 5G Business Internet [1] [2] [3].
  • Big savings when you add Verizon Business mobile: $20 a month off Fios or Frontier, and 5G Business Internet from $35 a month. For Fios and 5G, you need to buy the internet and the phone plan together [1] [2] [3].
  • Frontier is inexpensive and contract-free. 1 Gig is $69.99 a month with bank Auto Pay, no long-term contract and a router included [2].
  • Strong satisfaction scores. In J.D. Power's 2026 U.S. Business Internet Satisfaction Study, Verizon ranked highest with medium businesses (20 to 499 employees) and large enterprises. It ranked second with small businesses (under 20 employees) [13]. Verizon Wireless also ranked highest with medium businesses in J.D. Power's 2026 business wireless study, which covers mobile service [14].

Cons

  • Availability is patchy. Fios is limited to parts of the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic [16]. Frontier serves its own areas, and 5G Business Internet isn't available everywhere [8].
  • Fios's best prices need a 2-year term, which renews automatically and carries an early termination fee [1] [9].
  • The Fios entry plan's price is guaranteed for only 1 year, and the router is extra [1].
  • 5G speeds aren't guaranteed. They can drop when the network is busy, and uploads are slower than downloads [3].
  • Two companies for now. Frontier and Verizon still have separate accounts, billing and support [4].
  • Static IP pricing isn't published [18].

Who Verizon Business fits best

  • Offices in a Fios area that want symmetrical fiber and a multi-year price guarantee, and are comfortable with a 2-year term.
  • Small offices in a Frontier fiber area that want gigabit fiber at a low monthly price without a long-term contract.
  • Businesses adding Verizon Business mobile lines, which can unlock $20 a month off Fios or Frontier and lower 5G Business Internet prices.
  • Pop-up sites, construction trailers and branch offices without fiber, where 5G Business Internet's self-setup is quicker than waiting for a wired install.
  • Medium-sized companies (20 to 499 employees), the segment where Verizon ranked highest in J.D. Power's 2026 business internet study [13].

How Verizon compares with Spectrum, AT&T, Comcast and T-Mobile

  • Verizon vs. AT&T: Both sell symmetrical fiber, and your address decides which you can get: Fios is in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, AT&T Fiber is in AT&T's 21-state area and Quantum Fiber metros, and Frontier has fiber in its own areas. AT&T Business Fiber has no annual contract. Fios's advertised prices need a 2-year term, and Frontier is month-to-month. J.D. Power's 2026 business internet study ranked AT&T first and Verizon second with small businesses, and Verizon first with medium and large businesses.
  • Verizon vs. Spectrum and Comcast: Fios and Frontier fiber usually upload far faster than cable. Spectrum's uploads are 20 to 50 Mbps on most plans, and Comcast's can be as low as 35 Mbps in some areas. Spectrum has no contract. Comcast requires a 1-year term, and its optional 5-year price lock costs $40 a month more in year one.
  • Verizon vs. T-Mobile: For 5G fixed wireless, T-Mobile is $35 a month with a T-Mobile voice line, or $70 without, with a 5-year price guarantee. Verizon is $69 a month, or $35 with a qualifying smartphone plan using a $30 mobile-line credit plus a $4 internet offer credit (offer ends January 10, 2027), plus a 10-year guarantee in select areas. In Ookla's Q2 2026 data for home internet customers, T-Mobile's median download of 222.72 Mbps was faster than Verizon's 126.53 Mbps.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Verizon Fios Business internet cost?

Verizon's Fios Business page lists:

  • 300 Mbps: $69 a month
  • 500 Mbps: $99 a month
  • 1 Gig: $149 a month
  • 2 Gig: $179 a month

Each is $5 less with Auto Pay and paper-free billing. These prices require a 2-year term, and taxes, fees and equipment are extra. In some markets, Verizon advertises lower prices, starting at $69 a month for 500 Mbps [1].

Is Frontier part of Verizon now?

Yes. Verizon completed its acquisition of Frontier on January 20, 2026 [5]. Frontier Business Fiber is still sold under the Frontier name as "a Verizon Company." Verizon says there is no change in product availability for now, and that it will tell Frontier customers in advance about any future changes [4].

How much is Verizon 5G Business Internet?

Verizon's 100 Mbps service price is $69 a month and 200 Mbps is $85 a month with the current offer. With a qualifying Verizon business smartphone plan, they're $35 and $55. The $35 price uses a $30 mobile-line credit plus a $4 internet offer credit. The offer ends January 10, 2027. Verizon doesn't publish a price for the 400 Mbps plan online. New lines in select areas get a 10-year price guarantee on the base monthly price [3].

Does Verizon Business internet require a contract?

It depends on the service:

  • Fios: the advertised prices come with a 2-year term that renews automatically. Fios is also available without a 2-year term, but Verizon's page doesn't show those prices, and activation is $99 instead of $49 [1].
  • Frontier Business Fiber: billed month to month, and you can cancel anytime [2].
  • 5G Business Internet: Verizon's page lists no term contract, and CompareInternet.com describes it as month-to-month [15].

How much does Verizon business phone service cost?

  • Business Digital Voice: with Fios 300 Mbps or faster, $20 a month for the first line and $25 for each additional line. Phone equipment starts at $85 [1].
  • One Talk: starts at $20 per line [10].
  • Frontier Business Voice: starts at $29.99 a month when bundled with Frontier 1 Gig or faster fiber [11].

Should I choose Fios or 5G Business Internet?

If both reach your building, fiber is the steadier choice. Fios speeds don't depend on how busy the wireless network is, and most Fios plans upload as fast as they download.

5G Business Internet makes sense when:

  • Fiber isn't available.
  • You need service up quickly.
  • You want a backup line.

Verizon says 5G speeds can be lower during congestion and that upload speeds are lower than download speeds [3].

Does Verizon Business internet have data caps?

Fios, Frontier Business Fiber and 5G Business Internet all have unlimited data [1] [2] [3]. LTE Business Internet includes 300 GB per line per month before overage charges [8].
