AT&T Business Internet Pricing (2026): Business Fiber, Internet Air and Phone Plans

AT&T Business Fiber, Internet Air and phone prices for 2026, plus Quantum Fiber areas now part of AT&T. Fees, pros and cons, and a free quote comparison.

By GBTech.ai · Published · Last reviewed

Prices are the advertised monthly prices on AT&T's and Quantum Fiber's websites on November 6, 2026, before taxes and fees. What you pay depends on your address.

AT&T sells small-business internet in two main forms: AT&T Business Fiber, and Internet Air for Business, a fixed-wireless service that runs over AT&T's cellular network. In 2026 AT&T also bought Quantum Fiber, which sells business fiber in metros such as Denver, Seattle and Salt Lake City. This guide covers what each service costs, the fine print, and how AT&T compares with Spectrum, Comcast, T-Mobile and Verizon for a business with 4 to 250 employees.

AT&T Business pricing at a glance

Service Advertised price Speeds Contract
AT&T Business Fiber $60 to $285/mo online; $40 to $235 with an eligible AT&T Business wireless plan 300 Mbps to 5 Gig, equal upload and download No annual contract
Internet Air for Business (fixed wireless) $55 or $80/mo for new customers; $35 or $60 with an eligible AT&T Business wireless plan Not published; can slow when the network is busy No annual contract
Quantum Fiber business plans (now AT&T) $50 to $70/mo for new customers with bank Auto Pay 1 Gig to 3 Gig No annual contract
Business phone AT&T Phone for Business from $15 per line with new Business Fiber ($30 otherwise); Office@Hand from $25 per user n/a No contract for Phone for Business

For one office, AT&T's advertised internet plans run from about $50 to $285 a month before taxes and fees, or from $35 with an eligible AT&T Business wireless plan. AT&T doesn't say which wireless plans qualify for its bundle discounts, so ask before you count on them.

What changed in 2026: Quantum Fiber is now part of AT&T

On February 2, 2026, AT&T closed its purchase of substantially all of Lumen's Mass Markets fiber business for $5.75 billion. The deal added more than 1 million fiber subscribers and more than 4 million fiber locations in 11 states, and AT&T says AT&T Fiber is now available in 32 states [5]. Lumen confirmed the sale included Quantum Fiber. Lumen kept its enterprise and wholesale fiber customers [6].

What this means for business buyers:

  • Quantum Fiber is still sold under its own name. Its small business page now reads "Quantum Fiber from AT&T" and lists business plans with no annual contract [4].
  • Existing Quantum Fiber service hasn't changed yet. Quantum Fiber's AT&T FAQ, which doesn't say whether it covers business accounts, says, "There will be no changes to your existing Quantum Fiber services at this time." Service moves to AT&T's terms and conditions 30 days after customers are notified [7].
  • Larger companies on Lumen circuits aren't affected. Lumen kept its enterprise and wholesale fiber customers [6].

Business Fiber 5 GIG 5 / 5 Gbps $285/mo $235/mo Gateway with built-in 5G backup; $300 reward card

Source: AT&T Business Fiber page [1]. Prices are plus taxes and fees. On the 300, 500 and 1 GIG plans, the lower price is labeled "Online only." The 5 GIG plan tops out at 4.7 Gbps on a single wired device.

What to know before you order:

  • No contract or data caps, and no equipment fee. AT&T includes a Wi-Fi gateway on every plan [1].
  • Order online for the lowest price. The headline prices on the 300, 500 and 1 GIG plans are online-only. Installation (a $99 value) is waived for new customers who order 300 Mbps or faster online [1] [2].
  • Bundle discount. Adding an eligible AT&T Business wireless plan takes $20 to $50 a month off, depending on the tier. The discount is applied within three bills [2] [3].
  • Switching help. AT&T will cover your current provider's early termination fee up to $750, paid as an AT&T Visa Reward Card [1].
  • Reward cards for new customers. AT&T adds a Visa Reward Card worth $100 with the 300 Mbps plan, $200 with 500 Mbps and $300 with 1 Gig or faster. You have to redeem it [1].
  • Built-in 5G backup has limits. On 1 GIG and faster plans, the gateway switches to AT&T's wireless network if the fiber line goes down. It doesn't work during a power outage unless you add a battery, and static IP addresses and AT&T VoIP lines don't fail over to it [1].
  • Where it's available: AT&T's traditional wireline area covers 21 states: Alabama, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin [8]. AT&T also owns Quantum Fiber, which sells business fiber in metros such as Denver, Seattle and Salt Lake City (see below) [4] [5]. AT&T says its fiber reached more than 39 million consumer and business locations by the end of September 2026 [9].

Quantum Fiber business plans (now part of AT&T)

Plan Standard price New-customer price with bank Auto Pay
1 Gig (940 Mbps) $80/mo $50/mo
2 Gig (select markets) $100/mo $70/mo
3 Gig (select markets) $105/mo $70/mo

Source: the offer fine print on Quantum Fiber's small business page [4]; your actual price appears after an address check. The new-customer prices include a $25 discount ($30 on 3 Gig) plus $5 off for Auto Pay from a bank account.

Quantum Fiber's business plans have no annual contract. Availability is limited to select areas [4]. The page also shows a 500 Mbps tier without a price, and it doesn't say how long the new-customer discount lasts, so ask before you sign.

AT&T Internet Air for Business (fixed wireless)

Plan List price New-customer price With an eligible AT&T Business wireless plan
Internet Air for Business Standard $65/mo $55/mo $35/mo
Internet Air for Business Premium $105/mo $80/mo $60/mo

Source: AT&T Internet Air for Business page [10]. New-customer prices include a $5 Auto Pay and paperless discount, plus a bill credit for 36 months: $5 a month on Standard, $20 a month on Premium.

What to know:

  • Speeds aren't published or guaranteed. AT&T may slow Standard plan speeds whenever the network is busy. Premium includes 250 GB a month of priority data, then may also slow when the network is busy, and offers upload speeds up to 25% faster than Standard [10].
  • Prices can change. After the 36-month credits end, the prevailing plan price applies, and AT&T says "rate plan prices subject to change and may increase during 36-mo. period" [10].
  • The router is separate. AT&T offers a compatible router for $0.99 a month on a 36-month agreement, or you can use an AT&T-certified router you already own. There's no annual contract, but AT&T's fine print says a device balance comes due if you cancel service [10].
  • Fees: there's an activation fee of up to $50 per line. AT&T also adds per-line monthly fees that it says are not government-required, including an Administrative Fee of up to $3.49 [11].

AT&T business phone pricing

Product What it is Advertised price
AT&T Phone for Business Digital business phone lines that work with your existing analog phones; unlimited calling in the U.S., Canada and Mexico $15/mo per line for up to 6 lines with new Business Fiber 300, 500 or 1 Gig (first line only with 2 Gig or 5 Gig); $30/mo per line otherwise. No contract required [12]
AT&T Office@Hand Standard Cloud phone system with auto attendant, video meetings and business texting From $25 per user per month [13]
AT&T Office@Hand Premium Adds more toll-free minutes, larger meetings and an AI assistant From $35 per user per month [13]
AT&T Office@Hand Ultimate Adds an AI receptionist bundle and call-queue tools From $55 per user per month [13]

AT&T advertises Business Fiber plus Phone for Business bundles from $75 a month (300 Mbps) to $300 a month (5 Gig), including $125 a month for 1 Gig, each with a $50 reward card [12]. Office@Hand prices exclude taxes and surcharges, and AT&T notes that early termination fees apply [13].

Still on copper phone lines? In January 2026, the FCC granted AT&T's request to stop service in wire centers serving about 90,000 customers in 18 states. Customers there were told copper landline service could end starting November 15, 2026 [14]. AT&T plans to stop providing service over most of its copper network by the end of 2029, though it says regulatory approvals could delay that [9]. If alarm panels, fax machines, elevators or card readers still use copper lines, plan the move before AT&T sets a date for your building.

Backup and security add-ons

  • Built-in 5G backup: included on Business Fiber 1 GIG and faster, with the limits described above [1].
  • AT&T Business Wireless Backup Advanced: $30 a month for backup during an outage. Data is unlimited, but speeds are capped at 3 Mbps after 30 GB. The router is sold separately, the plan is meant for temporary use, and AT&T says it isn't sold online or in retail stores [15].
  • AT&T Dynamic Defense (network security for Business Fiber): Standard $15, Advanced $65 or Premium $95 a month, after two free months [16].
  • AT&T Business Guarantee: a bill credit for qualifying fiber outages longer than 20 minutes. It applies only inside AT&T's 21-state footprint and requires AT&T-provided gateways [8].

Fees and fine print to budget for

  • Taxes and fees are extra on every plan [1].

  • Business Fiber:

    • The best prices require ordering online.
    • The bundle discount needs an eligible AT&T Business wireless plan, and AT&T doesn't name which plans qualify.
    • Installation is $99 unless the online waiver applies.

    Sources: [1] [2] [3].

  • Static IP addresses: available on request, but AT&T doesn't publish the price, and static IPs don't fail over to the 5G backup [1] [17].

  • Internet Air for Business:

    • Up to $50 activation per line.
    • AT&T's per-line monthly fees.
    • A separate router.

    Sources: [10] [11].

  • Office@Hand: early termination fees apply [13].

Pros and cons of AT&T Business

Pros

  • Symmetrical fiber up to 5 Gig, with prices published online [1].
  • Few strings. There's no annual contract, no data cap and no equipment fee, and installation is waived when you order online [1].
  • Free built-in 5G backup on 1 GIG and faster plans [1].
  • Savings if you use AT&T Business wireless: $20 to $50 a month off fiber, and $20 a month off Internet Air for Business [2] [10].
  • Low-cost phone lines with fiber: $15 a line for up to six lines with new Business Fiber 300, 500 or 1 Gig, with no contract required [12].
  • Top-rated by small businesses. AT&T ranked highest in the small business segment (fewer than 20 employees) of J.D. Power's 2026 U.S. Business Internet Satisfaction Study [18].

Cons

  • Fiber reaches only part of the country. It's limited to AT&T's 21 traditional states plus Quantum Fiber areas [8] [5].
  • Headline prices come with conditions. They require ordering online or bundling an eligible wireless plan [1] [2].
  • No dedicated circuit or service-level agreement on Business Fiber. AT&T sells Dedicated Internet, "an unshared connection," separately for that [19].
  • The 5G backup doesn't work in a power outage without a battery, and it doesn't carry static IPs or AT&T VoIP [1].
  • Internet Air for Business has no guaranteed speeds, and its router and per-line fees cost extra [10] [11].
  • The outage credit doesn't apply everywhere. The fiber outage credit only applies inside AT&T's 21-state footprint [8].

Who AT&T Business fits best

  • Small offices in an AT&T fiber area that want simple published pricing, symmetrical speeds and no contract.
  • Businesses already on AT&T Business wireless, which unlocks up to $50 a month off fiber.
  • Offices that upload a lot, such as design files, cloud backups or video, where symmetrical fiber helps.
  • Sites that can't get fiber, where Internet Air for Business can be up and running without a wired install.
  • Companies still on copper lines that need to move phones, alarms or fax lines to a newer service.

How AT&T compares with Spectrum, Comcast, T-Mobile and Verizon

Starting prices aren't like-for-like. Some already include AutoPay or bundle discounts, and promotional prices can rise later. See each carrier's section for the conditions.

  • AT&T vs. Verizon: Both sell symmetrical fiber, and your address decides which you can get: Fios is in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, AT&T Fiber is in AT&T's 21-state area and Quantum Fiber metros, and Frontier has fiber in its own areas. AT&T Business Fiber has no annual contract. Fios's advertised prices need a 2-year term, and Frontier is month-to-month. In J.D. Power's 2026 business internet study, AT&T ranked first with small businesses and Verizon second.
  • AT&T vs. Spectrum and Comcast: AT&T fiber uploads as fast as it downloads. Spectrum's uploads are 20 to 50 Mbps on most plans, and Comcast's depend on the area. Spectrum also has no contract, while Comcast requires a 1-year term.
  • AT&T vs. T-Mobile: Both sell fixed wireless. AT&T Internet Air for Business is $55 a month for new customers, or $35 with an eligible AT&T wireless plan. T-Mobile Business Internet is $35 with a T-Mobile voice line, or $70 without. In Ookla's Q2 2026 data for home internet customers, T-Mobile's median download of 222.72 Mbps beat AT&T Internet Air's 160.43 Mbps.

Frequently asked questions

How much does AT&T Business Fiber cost?

AT&T's online prices are:

  • 300 Mbps: $60 a month
  • 500 Mbps: $100 a month
  • 1 Gig: $140 a month
  • 2 Gig: $185 a month
  • 5 Gig: $285 a month

With an eligible AT&T Business wireless plan, those drop to $40, $60, $90, $135 and $235. Taxes and fees are extra, and there's no annual contract [1].

Is Quantum Fiber part of AT&T now?

Yes. AT&T closed its purchase of Lumen's Mass Markets fiber business, which includes Quantum Fiber, on February 2, 2026 [5] [6]. Quantum Fiber still sells business plans under its own name, described as "Quantum Fiber from AT&T" [4].

Does AT&T Business Fiber require a contract?

No. AT&T advertises Business Fiber with no annual contract, no data caps and no equipment fees [1].

What is AT&T Internet Air for Business, and how much is it?

It's fixed-wireless internet that runs over AT&T's cellular network to a router at your business. New customers pay $55 a month for Standard or $80 a month for Premium for the first 36 months, with the AutoPay and paperless discount and monthly bill credits. After that, the prevailing plan price applies. With an eligible AT&T Business wireless plan, those prices drop to $35 and $60. The router is separate, and speeds aren't guaranteed [10].

How much does AT&T business phone service cost?

  • AT&T Phone for Business: $15 a month per line for up to six lines when you add new Business Fiber 300, 500 or 1 Gig (only the first line is $15 with 2 Gig or 5 Gig). Otherwise it's $30 a line [12].
  • AT&T Office@Hand: starts at $25, $35 or $55 per user per month, depending on the plan [13].

Is AT&T shutting down copper phone lines?

Yes, in stages. The FCC approved AT&T's request to stop service in wire centers serving about 90,000 customers in 18 states. Those customers were told service could end starting November 15, 2026 [14]. AT&T aims to stop providing service over most of its copper network by the end of 2029, though it says regulatory approvals could delay that [9].

Does AT&T Business Fiber include backup internet?

The 1 GIG, 2 GIG and 5 GIG plans include a gateway with built-in 5G backup at no extra cost. It needs a battery to work during a power outage, and static IPs and AT&T VoIP lines don't fail over to it [1]. AT&T also sells Business Wireless Backup Advanced for $30 a month [15].

What's the difference between AT&T Business Fiber and AT&T Dedicated Internet?

Business Fiber has published prices but no dedicated circuit or service-level agreement. AT&T Dedicated Internet is "an unshared connection that's used only by your business," backed by service-level credits. AT&T doesn't publish its price, so it's quoted per site [19]. Companies usually move to dedicated internet when they need a contractual uptime guarantee.
